Relationship between market performance, financial results and innovation capabilities in the food and beverage sector in the municipality of Pasto

The objective of the research was to analyze the relationship between market performance, financial results and innovation capabilities, in the food and beverage sector of Pasto. The study was based on the positivist paradigm, type of correlational research, empirical analytical method, 174 food and beverage SMEs as a population, to which a survey was applied. Among the main results it could be observed that The main innovation capabilities that affect market performance and financial performance of food and beverage SMEs in Pasto are Innovation Strategy, Marketing Capacity, and Human Talent Capacity. Statistically, the variable with the greatest factorial importance was vision, aligned with the objectives and innovation of the company (0.859).
