Investigating in reserve cognitiva

The objective of the study consisted in determine them factors more relevant at the level of the cognitive reserve in a group of teachers of the city of Ipiales (Nariño). Research hosted a quantitative approach, with a descriptive type; the sample was conformed by a group of 30 teachers, chosen under a type of sampling not probabilistic. Cognitive component is assessed through the application of a questionnaire of cognitive reserve, the scale of tracking mini mental and test Neuropsychological of memory, attention and language. Those factors more significant in relation to the level of cognitive reserve, were academic formation, leisure activities and occupation labor; similarly, association between cognitive processes of phonological fluency and evocation of information was presented. One important conclusion is that all of the evaluated population presents a cognitive reserve average level, the above attributed to their academic ability, vocational training and leisure activities.
